Join your FSR friends on Saturday, April 12th for a 118 mile adventure on fantastic twisty roads traversing the farming country of southeastern Virginia... The Peanut Pursuit!
We'll travel on back country roads as we make our way through Isle of Wight County, Suffolk, Franklin and Southampton County. The route starts at the Smithfield Burger King, (not the Windsor Burger King), and soon crosses the Suffolk lakes six times as we head south through farm country on fun roads near the North Carolina border. We’ll have a break at the The HUBS Vine Restaurant and Store where you can have a great meal and pick up some of the famous HUBS gourmet peanuts known around the world. After lunch, we will continue our drive by heading northwest over some amazing twisty roads then finally return to Smithfield where we started.
We will gather at 9AM in the parking lot of the Burger King Restaurant located at 1228 Smithfield Plaza in Smithfield, VA 23430. After check-in and a Participants Safety Briefing, we'll begin departing at 10:00.
Our mid-point and lunch venue will be The HUBS Vine Restaurant, located at 1459 Armory Dr in Franklin, VA 23851. Everyone will be able to order from the menu, and purchase some of HUBS famous peanuts, and pay your own tab.
After lunch, the drive will continue on more of these interesting roads leading us back to our starting point in Smithfield.
The registration deadline is April 9. Please indicate if you will be joining us for just the drive, just the restaurant, or both, and the number of people who will be dining in your group. There is limited seating in our reserved restaurant area so please register as soon as possible.
Both paper route instructions and Ride with GPS will be available and GPS links will be sent via email before the event.

This event is open to PCA members only. We welcome our neighboring and not so neighboring Region members to join us.
